1981 Walter Simmons Design Vintage Classic Sprit Sail Wooden Boat
Classic Lincolnville Salmon Wherry 16’ - Excellent Condition.
Hand Made Labor: 300+ hours built by Maine Wooden Boatbuilder Walter Simmons in Lincolnville Beach, ME
See builder’s description of design at Duck Trap’s website at http://www.duck-trap.com/2002lsw.html

Cedar planks copper riveted on steam bent white oak frames, white oak stem stern, mahogany trim.

Beautiful boat stored indoors and sailed in freshwater in Texas, Louisiana, and Arkansas. Needs a good home.

Will consider delivery in US or meeting half-way. Would rather not ship it.

Mastercraft Trailer built in the 1960’s in Middleton, CT, good condition; refurbished with new bearings and bearing races. Buddy bearings installed and maintained. Trailer pulls great.

I became the second owner of the boat and trailer in 1989. First owner was my step-mother’s first husband so it’s been in the family for nearly 40 years. Spent most of it’s sailing days on Texas and Louisiana inland lakes.
