Further Comments
Very good condition, original 1961 Penn Yan 16' "Niagra" Runabout with very rare 1967 80 HP Evinrude and/or 1977 50 HP Johnson outboard. Both outboards work fine - the Evinrude is currently on the boat and looks brand new, but has not had the controls hooked up since I did not know how to do it. The 50 HP Johnson was originally on the boat, and includes all the controls, and also includes a new carb system. You can choose either outboard you would prefer, or for and extra $600 you can have both. The trailer has side posts for easy in and outs, and has new bearings on the wheels. Also has a blue canvas boat cover along with custom timbers to support the cover in winter. The previous owner had put in new upholstery on all the seats, new floor carpet, and new top side and bottom paint, along with restoring most of the interior wood mahogany and oak. The deck has teak and holly plywood, but needs a re-varnishing job if you want it to look like new. Also has a spotlight on the deck, a real air horn, the original Penn Yan flag, and a blue umbrella that fits in a custom holder behind the front seats. This is a very rare find, and I'm only selling it since we moved, and need something bigger to go in the ocean - almost worth keeping just to look at.
