Further Comments
This boat had a major restoration done with 99% new wood. 5200 bottom, sides and deck. Original motor was totally rebuilt. Engine remained original with 6 volt and cloth style wiring. Original gauges and hardware were rebuilt and rechromed. New original front seat box springs and kapok throughout with rich soft naugyhyde. Fool's Gold has won best restoration 2 years in a row at our RDC chapter. She is the only 24' upswept left with the original holly downdraft carburator. Truly a fine collectors boat.
